Changes to Queens Gardens Car Park from 29 November 2024

The City of Perth’s Queens Gardens Car Park will reduce in size from Friday, 29 November 2024. The State Government has acquired two-thirds of the existing car park for the future development of the Inner City Primary School.

 

What’s Changing?

Starting at 5pm Friday 29 November 2024 the City of Perth Parking Queens Gardens Car Park will operate only in the section bordered by Plain Street, Nelson Crescent, Horatio Street and Waterloo Crescent. The capacity of Queens Gardens Car Park will reduce from 864 bays to 367 bays. The 8 ACROD bays will remain available, the motorcycle bays will not be available within the City’s section of the car park. 

The EasyPark zone for Queens Gardens Car Park (zone 37109) will only valid in the City’s section of the car park.

The sections of the car park east of Horatio Street are now owned, and will be operated by the Department of Education.
