Car Park Payment Systems

EasyPark Parking Payment App

EasyPark is a parking payment app that you can use to pay for your parking in City of Perth non-boom gate pay-by-plate car parks and on-street parking bays. To get started; download the EasyPark App to your smart device, register your details with EasyPark, and start your parking session. Remember to end your parking session to ensure you only pay for the time you use.

The EasyPark app charges an additional service fee for users, with rates varying depending on whether you're a casual user or on a business account. This service fee goes to EasyPark, not the City of Perth.

For more information or to download the App, please visit easypark.com.au or contact EasyPark directly on 1300 734 070.

Parking Meters (Pay by Plate)

Pay-by-Plate technology uses your vehicle’s licence plate number to record your parking time and payment, removing the need to display a paper ticket on your vehicle dash.

Parking meters are found in non-boom gate entry car parks, on-street parking bays and some boom-gate entry to service motorcycle bays. There are two types of parking meters; cashless and cash/credit card accepting.

All meters are ticketless; simply enter your vehicle registration number, select the amount of time you intend to park, and pay for your parking following the onscreen prompts. E-receipts are available by scanning the QR code displayed on the meter's screen using your smartphone, or download a copy from the myparkingticket.com.au web portal.

Payment accepted: Credit card, cash (at select meters).

Cash accepted as selected meters: $2, $1, 50c, 20c and 10c. No change given.

Automated pay machines (Pay as you leave)

Automated pay machines are used in the following boom-gate entry car parks: Concert Hall, Citiplace, Convention Centre, Cultural Centre, Elder Street, His Majesty's, Pier Street, Roe Street, State Library and Terrace Road.

Payment accepted: Cash, credit card.
Cash accepted: $2, $1, 50c, 20c and 10c. Some machines accept $50 notes. Change given.

A ticket is issued at the entry boom gate. Before returning to the vehicle to exit the car park, customers must pay for their parking by visiting one of the automated pay machines. The machine will collect monies owing and validate the ticket.
Customers can then return to their vehicles and exit the facility by inserting the ticket at the exit boom gate.

We would like to remind our customers that tickets should be stored away from any magnetic sources including RFID Protection Wallets as these may damage the ticket. Failure to do so may result in a full day fee or more if the ticket is destroyed.

Licence Plate Recognition System (LPR)

LPR entry is used in the following car parks: Goderich Street, Mayfair Street, Council House, and Regal Place.
On entry to the car park, the boom gate will automatically open. The licence plate of the vehicle will be captured by a camera when entering. No ticket will be issued. The option to pre-pay for parking is available along with the option to pay before leaving. The payment machines have a touch screen. Simply enter the licence plate number on the screen or the approximate time entering the car park to bring up images of the vehicle that matches the licence plate. Once selected, either press the pre-pay button or the pay for exit button to make payment. The boom gate will automatically open when the vehicle approaches the exit.

Payment accepted: Cash, credit card.
Cash accepted: $20, $10, $5, $2, $1, 50c, 20c and 10c. Some machines accept $50 notes.
